Bittersweet - Annette Anthony

Warning... I grew up with the author of this book.  She was my best friends little sister, and I am sure a twerp, but I may be a little biased on this review!
I know people who have written books.  I know people who have written books well!  This was a fun book.  It is a romance.  It takes place in Denver, Colorado in its early stages.  It is a mystery, there is a murder.  It is not a perfect book, but I loved it!  I hope everyone I know will read it and enjoy it as well!

Mistwood - Leah Cypess

This was my May book club book.  It was good, not my favorite.  I read the first 1/3 in two weeks, and the rest in 3 days!  Once I got into it, it caught me.  This story deals with kingdoms at war, shape shifters, mystical stuff.  It had an interesting premise, but didn't follow through well.
